John Michael O. loves learning! He enrolled in our Kindergarten Readiness tutoring program this summer.  Being the “baby” of the family (JM has two older brothers, Charlie and Bo) his mom wanted to keep him at home instead of sending him to Pre-K. Fast forward to 2023, and starting school, Mom and Dad wanted to do everything they could to provide JM with a solid academic foundation before he started Kindergarten. Enter Great Thinkers! John Michael started the program in June, and loves it so much(so do Mom and Dad) that he continues weekly sessions in the afternoons after school.  He works with Mrs. Jenn.  His favorite things about his sessions with Jenn are being a “letter detective” and dancing to “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes!”  JM also loves his Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Gunn, learning to write his name, letters, and numbers, snack and recess….BUT, his favorite time of day at school….NAP TIME!!

John Michael, aka, Mr. Blue Eyes, is like a sponge when it comes to soaking up knowledge.  We are all so proud of how far he has come in such a short amount of time, and are so happy that he is now a member of the Great Thinker family!
